From what I understand newer models may not use the Schwintek slides on the kitchen, just my luck.

Thanks for the video, it was informative but mainly for if the slide is stuck in the open position and you need to close it. Access to the motor set screw is not accessible if the slide is closed.

Not sure what system the newer models use, just what the mobile service guy mentioned.

Attached is a Lippert video that shows how to override the slide mechanism (Schwintek) you might have.
These setups are utilized when hydraulic or a rack system would interfere with your storage tanks.
Hope this helps and you get your problem rectified.

I am puzzled why your RV teck could not splice wires? He should be able to get the side motors powered someway.

Basically the wires were ripped right at the plug at the top of the trim. Not enough room to splice anything. Also the wire or cable was basically ripped out from underneath, nothing existed to splice to. May all the way back to the board, not really sure how far back the cable was torn out from.

Thanks again for the video but it appears to be geared more for electronically overriding which cannot be done because there is no connection to the motor. I do have a question though. Where is that slide control module? I don’t remember seeing that in any of my cubbies.

Schwintek controller locations vary:
I've read:
Behind the right drawer in the hutch, near circuit breaker panel.
Bathroom sink cabinet behind a panel.
Supposed to be barely possible to push a slide with a couple of people with the motors still in the track, without brake power on the motors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dIQp0h97xY- Gene
