Any recommendations for the Panama City Beach Area?

I would like to travel to a quiet place in the Panama City Beach Area of Florida sometime in February or March. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We prefer Emerald Coast RV Resort. Close enough to everything but away from the busy seashore road. Very nice campground with 2 pools & roomy sites.

We have stayed at Emerald Coast as well. Very nice park.
I was on the phone with them last week and they had a few spots available for the entire month of March 2020.
Didn’t have 2020 rates yet. Said we could reserve and then cancel if we weren’t happy with the new rate.

Panama City RV Resort is very nice. We stayed there this past February. Nice pool but a small park. Just across main drag from the beach and next to a state park. I would stay there again.

When you say they had a few spots for the entire month of March - Do you mean spots if someone wanted to spend the entire month there? Or do you mean only a few openings for the entire month of March?

They had some sites available for the entire month of March. I had site 115 booked for March. I canceled it as we are staying somewhere else that month.

It's a little farther west, but we really enjoy Santa Rosa RV resort in Navarre. Very nice place. Been staying there since it opened years ago. It's our regular stop on the way back home from Fort Wilderness at Disney.

You might want to come as late as possible in March. The panhandle gets cold in those months.

Average high temperatures are 66 and 72 degrees respectively for February and March.

Average low temperatures are 46 and 51 degrees respectively.

Yep, it'll be very quiet--except for those weeks tens of thousands of college students hit Panama City Beach on Spring Break.

I agree with Emerald Cost very nice park. The two on the beach are ok places but not to clean and small sites and loud during peak times.
