I then have to click on the general thread to find that the wax the dog thread has been commented on several times with a discussion of what wax works best on the dog, but evidently the best method and prep have already been found, or not a lot of people have experience at giving the cat an enema, and then click the "show as read" button, whereas is the ignore a thread option wouldn't have even brought it up for me to have repeatedly marked as read.
I can see waxing your dog but why would you want to give my cat an enema?

I'd expect that any thread about giving a cat an enema would be shortly followed by a thread asking about sources for treating the injuries administered by said cat upon the human - things like whole-body skin transplants, eye transplants, prosthetic ears, etc.

OK, I'll admit it. I read that link. This guy has never been in the presence of a cat. "One or two doses of a 5 mL microenema containing sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (MicroLax) is easily administered...".

There is NO WAY that was "easily administered" into the rectum of a conscious, non-sedated cat. No way in hell.

I had to put ear drops into the ears of a kitten that had mites. That was not "easily administered" and was no where near the rectum.
