Anyone have a persistent gasoline fumes smell in the toy pump area?

351M has two fuel tank fills and I think two tanks. One for toys and one for generator. Pumped the toy tank dry but apparently fuel in the other. Without a generator there's no need for the other tank. How can I remove the now stale gasoline safely? Is there a drain plug or must it be siphoned? Rather not be towing a useless potential bomb. Any ideas or help will be appreciated

1/8" dia or smaller is the best siphon tube to have on hand
Do It Centers sell it by the ft - you need at least 5' get 6 to 7. It's cheap.
