Count me in as a big NO on that one as well. For all of the reasons mentioned above and for many more reasons yet to be identified.

Take a look at rvshare.com. I did not know this was a thing but apparently it is.

There are places that rent motor homes. I've never seen anyone commercially rent trailers or 5th wheels, you must mean having it parked I'm sure. No thanks.

There's a place near our storage yard that has motor homes, trailers, and 5th wheels that are for rent by owners.

Here in the Smoky Mountains there are folks that rent 5th wheels but the ones I've seen do not allow the renter to tow it, they set it up in the park of choice within a certain mileage radius.

This is really no different than a time share. Which I think is a horror story start to finish. But some people don`t mind walking or sleeping on anothers DNA.

Just like RVing......it's not for everybody but some people do it. One of the rental homes that I bought about 15 years ago, the seller had a TT that they rented out. He was telling me that was their second one and that the rental takes care of the payments. His attitude was "we only use it a few times a year for a week each time.....let somebody else make the payments and we have the RV that we want". I never rented it but did think about it (we had a boat back then, no RV yet).
