    No hot water

I should add, no water is coming out of the hot water side on any faucet.

    Something frozen somewhere?

Ugh, meant to put this in too...

    Hey all.
Very cold here yesterday. Mid 30's, cold, windy. Furnace is running fine. Last night down to mid-teens. Set thermostat to 64, and all is fine.

This morning, water is running fine from the cold side, but no water is coming from the hot side.

    Any ideas?

Also, hot water heater (Atwood) is only set on electric.

Had it been working on elec only? Check for a circuit breaker tripped. Otherwise, put it on gas and see what happens.

Update... water finally came out of the hot water side, from all faucets. So, so something froze up. Now, to figure out what, where, etc.

Any ideas as to what we do to prevent again?

I was in lovely Waco, TX a couple of Januarys ago and the kitchen had no water(hot or cold). It turned out it was the low point drains the stick out about a foot below the trailer. A hair dryer thawed them out real quickly. I've wrapped them in insulating tape but haven't been in weather that cold since.

Thanks for the suggestion, in fact we did just that about a week ago to both low drain points (we have a washer installed). A suggestion was to put faucet covers on, which I did, but I also added fiberglass insulation to inside the covers.

The front low point drains for the washer extend out a bit, so I plan to cut them back some when it warms up. For now, I duct taped extra insulation to the top portion. We'll see how all this works.Click image for larger version.
