They did change it for 2020 Superduty trucks and the system now supports 5th wheels.

Sounds like it's going to be a nice truck...going from 3.55's to the 4.30's will make the truck feel like a hotrod!! Hope the wait isn't too long and congrats in advance!!

Just a quick recap for those playing along here: F250 --> F350 DRW --> F450 in roughly two years IIRC. I like your style! Congratulations!

That new F-450 sounds great. Check the paint real close when it comes in. A lot of paint issues in the new super duties. Ford quality control is not what it should be. You don't want to deal with Ford customer care if you have issues---trust me, I know.

I was looking at Fords website last night. I see the F350 is available now with a 7.2L I believe. 425 HP gasser. When I was in Alaska the motorhome I rented had a F450 chassis with the Ford V10. It has more then enough power to go as fast and climb as fast as you wanted to go. I was hoping that might be an option. But the V10 isn't shown on there website. Its odd you can buy a new motorhome with that engine but nothing else.

I hope that's not the case, the paint on the F350 is absolutely perfect. I ordered the white metallic called white star, it's the old white platinum color. I did read online on the Nichols site that the 20's will come with the 12 pin plug already in the bed for the camera/TPS Ford kit. If that's true it will be really cool as I also ordered the camera kit with the truck.

Yes the V-10 is pretty much motorhome chassis only. My friend is full timing in a one yr old class A with the V-10 and he says it's plenty powerful. His class A is a 36 footer and he tows a small car as well. I always wondered why Ford doesn't put the 6.7 diesel in the motorhome chassis.
