That is fantastic. That is going to be a big change on the trans. And a new 6.7 too, but how that new trans does with towing is going to be the talk. And hopefully be as reliable as the old. Can’t wait to hear how she does!!!! I’m sure it’s going to be a great truck. Congratulations 🎊

Thanks and yes I'm pretty excited. I too was a little concerned about the new transmission but everything I've researched says Ford did it right and it's pretty heavy duty. I think with the 4:30 rearend gears and all those gears in the tranny it should be a pulling monster!

Me too. Imagine if you could get a F53 class A motorhome for +10K (about what it is on the trucks) with the 6.7? That would be a diesel pusher killer (well, not killer, but very competitive with the really big rigs)!

I’ve been thinking on this. At first I thought the issue would be the heat from the regen cycle posing too high a risk. But then I remembered that major motor work on the 6.7 requires the cab to be lifted off the chassis. Not going to happen with a Class C or a Class A built on the existing Super Duty chassis.

Congrats on the F450! I couldn't wait for the 20's - got a great deal ordering a 2019. Mine doubles as my daily driver - rides as good as my F350CCSB did, and has a better turning radius. I do like the new look of the front ends on the 2020's though!

You use to be able to get the wide body front end on the F350 drw trucks as an option. Wish they would start that up again.

I think it's probably a supply issue. From digging into why mine will take 2-3 months is due to the demand for that same front axle in Ford's heavy duty commercial business. Big demand for the 450's in the commercial market I guess.

It's time to think accessories. Might I suggest Wheel to Wheel running boards.

I love my roll top bed cover. There are several makes out there. It is rigid so you can put stuff on top of it if you want and it locks making the bed of your truck a really big trunk when you are not towing.
