Hi all,

The wife and I planned on moving to a FW in 2015 when we purchased our travel trailer a few years back. Over the past 2 years we have been looking at many different floor plans, manufacturers and speaking with FW owners during our travels.

Grand Design was not even on the long list during these past couple of years. Top of our list was a Montana then a Pinnacle. After returning to our travel trailer dealer to look at our favorite Montana floor plan we discovered they are no longer a Montana dealer (still other Keystone models). Our sales rep introduced us to Grand Design and we were impressed with the different areas of details over the Montana.

Like most, Grand Design owners are few and far between today so research was challenging. I finally reached out to the service manager at our dealer who we have come to know well over the past years. His comments were the turning point for us to put the Solitude on our short list. It seems the Montana warranty work was becoming quite a scheduling challenge in their shop (the largest in the upper midwest). The comments from Solitude owners about the personal attention they receive from Grand Design is a testament to the owners' passion to reconnect with their customers. Doing something different is refreshing.

Fast forward to today and we have decided on the Solitude 369RL. We sign the papers this Saturday and are very excited for the 2015 camping season to get underway.

More to come....
