    1) Go See Jerry World and take the tour. If your a Cowboy fan or not that is one big place and worth the price of the tour,
    2) Take in a game at the new Globe Life Park (or take the tour). George Bush may not have been your favorite president, but he did know how to design a baseball stadium,
    3) Watch the Longhorn Cattle Drive in downtown Ft. Worth,
    4) Take a driving tour of Frisco TX. This little town has now grown into a mega-sports town with the home of the Cowboys, sports museums' and much more,
    5) Visit a couple of world class museums' on the TCU campus.

North Texas is a little behind in the RV campground development. We looked last fall when the girls were having gymnastic competition and didn't find anything close to the event menu.

A shout out to all our Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex members. Let's help Benny and Vickie has an wonderful and adventurous trip to Texas.
All the info has been very helpful. Looking forward to our trip to Texas .Again thanks to all the information. If anyone ever makes a trip to Georgia hope I can help Been here for 70 years

A really good wildflower drive is the Willow City Loop in the Fredericksburg area. And don’t skip the Nimitz Museum and the Nat. Museum of the Pacific War. Also Fredericksburg attractions.

The Fredricksburg area is in the heart of the Hill Country and Texas wine country. Artsee/caftsee type town of German heritage with lots to see and do. Very close to Luckenbach, Kerville and Austin. There's a little RV place 12 miles North on Hwy 16 call Oxford Ranch will full hookups. Not a fancy place but a couple hundred acres of wide open hill county to enjoy the stars....and cheap!

One of the best places around San Antonio to the native TX hill country is the Leakey/Concan area. We stayed at the Parkview Riverside RV park. It is literally right across the Frio river where Garner State Park is. If you enjoy hill country, 600 year old Bald Cypress Trees and the best weather in TX then go there. The RV park staff are top notch and so is the park.

It's approx 60 miles west of San Antonio and worth the drive.
