2500RL - replaced 40 amp fuse, awning LED lights are not coming on

Unfortunately had a power surge recently that knocked out the main 40 amp fuse. Before this occurred, awning LED lights worked just fine. After replacing the 40 amp fuse, the LED lights will no longer come on.

I know for the radio there was a separate fuse that had to be replaced. Does the same apply for the awning LED lights? If so, where?

    Appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

    Regards,
    Craig

check behind your switch panel . There is a fuse right behind the awning light switch.

Isn't it great how GD hides these fuses without any mention or documentation. I was a little perturbed to find two on my converter and an inline fuse on my water pump that are behind a barrier in the basement. How hard would it be to add another feed from the electrical panel?

I agree 100% but that's the times we live in.

Regarding the converter fuses, they are reverse polarity fuses from my understanding. Most likely you will never need to worry about those unless you hook up your battery backwards.

I was wondering the same thing about the fuses not being mentioned in the info packet. Guess they are there so the dealer came make more money on repair shops work orders.

THANK YOU! This was the reason I was not getting power to my LED lights when I switched them out to new one. This little 2 amp fuse popped.
