    6 sided tents

Hello and Happy New Year too all.
Last year we had to trash our old 10 X10 e-z up tent.
We are starting to reserch 6 sided quick set up tents. The 2 we are interested in are , Gazelle G6 portable tent (21500) and Quick Set by Clam (Escape Screen tent ).
Both are similar in sizes and price.
Has anyone have either one? We are interested in your opinions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

We have a Clam, we got the one with the built in wind flaps. It's great for shade and rain. We brought it to the Smokey Mtns the last 2 summers where it rains almost daily. We hung lights on he inside and placed a large picnic table inside, kept everyone dry while eating.

It sets up and tears down very easy once you get the hang of it. The bag is large enough to easily fit it back inside. We find it best to use stakes on the inside loops that are provided and then I bought extra stakes and added rope and I tie those to the pull handles on each side. This helps keep it up during windy conditions.

I would buy another one if this one died.

We have the Aldi version they were selling last spring and really are happy with it. Like mentioned once you get the hang of putting it up and down it's easy. They are heavier than they look.
If Aldi offered it up again I'd buy another. It was a deal @99 bucks
