    Excellent thread. Just ordered the switch holder housing from Amazon for $37. It should arrive in a few days and with a little luck, I should be good to go. Have you considered adding a metal shim to the upper latch housing? It might help with durability and longevity. Just a thought.

    I did indeed. But if not perfect would pop fuses again. I elected not to. If you do, please report back.

    Got the part in and installed today. Total cost about $40 between parts and fuse. Microwave is working fine. Thanks for sharing this thread.
