UBS ports, 12v or 110?
I know, I could take it apart and figure it out, but I'm not at the trailer and wanted to get a quick answer. Are the USB ports on a 351M powered by 12V or 110? IE, do they have power when not connected to shore power/generator?
Thank you!

Looks like it's 12V, but still not 100% sure. The reason I'm asking, I put an IP camera in the bedroom and am looking for an "always on" source of power that's available with/without a generator running. So if the USB ports power off 12V they will work for what I need, if not, well, I'll have to keep looking.

Maybe I’m missing something, but could you hook something up to the USB with shore power hooked up, ensure that it is working, then unhook the shore power, so that you only have battery? If it still works, then it’s hooked to 12V.

Nope, you're not missing anything, it's just raining and I don't feel like going out to the rig, pulling the shore power, and testing it. Figured someone might know, and, if so, it might be helpful to others looking for an always on source of USB power.

Yeah, I do. Honestly though, probably easier to just shut down the shore power and see what happens. My rig has the gas/electric fridge, which, as I understand it, means no inverter. So if it stays on with shore power disconnected and genny off, well, there's my answer. It's just raining cats and dogs right now and I figured maybe someone already investigated and knew the answer.

we boondock all the time. The USBs are hot in the kitchen and bedroom above the pillows. Seems they are direct 12V ports with the USB chip to reduce voltage and current.

Mine are all 12v. When I needed 12v for my Cpap I tied into the line supplying the USB ports above the bed.

On my 2020 349M they are all fed from the 12V supply. I am sure that they are turned off however if the main battery switch is turned off.
