    New Grand Design Owner

    Hello everyone, my wife Monica and I (Mark) just purchased a 2019 Momentum 351M toy hauler. We are very excited about it. I have had three 5th wheels of various sizes, and this will be our last. It has every option available, even though its a year old it seems to be as new through out. My other RVs have been a little lower in class, more in the $30-40k range, so this is a large step up for us. Its in the high end class for us and is something we have wanted for a long time. My current RV is a Montana Mountanier 32' and weighs 10k lbs, this one is 40' and listed as 13.6k lbs, quite a heavier trailer, but I think the ol F450 can handle it

    Welcome to the forum.

    I'm sure you're joking when you say "... but I think the ol F450 can handle it." I've got a 2018 Dodge 3500 DRW and it pulls and stops my 337RLS with ease. I only wish my 3500 had the turning radius of an F450.

    Yeah, lol, the little ol 4Fitty will get a work out now...with the mods its got shudnt been an issue

    Out of curiosity what year F450? I wouldn't think a F450 would need any mods to pull any Grand Design trailer.
