    Sailun S637

Time for some new tires plus a new spare. A friend of mine is a manager at a tire shop that specializes in 18 wheelers and such so he can't get great deals on brands like Goodyear, Michelin etc. But he can get me a pretty good deal on Sailuns. Looks like they get good reviews online. I have a Solitude 369rl so the load range G is a little more piece of mind. Anyone here with an experience with them?

I ran them on my Solitude. They have an excellent reputation.

26,000 miles on our Sailuns without a single problem - and they still have most of their tread left. Excellent tire. If you use the search function at the upper right, you'll find lots of posts on the topic.

I've never heard of anything but good about Sailuns. Only Chinese built tire I can say that about. They're also very inexpensive. Trouble is finding servicing dealers. But with the internet, you can get any tire delivered in one or two days in the U.S.

We have the Sailuns and are happy with them. Whatever you get make sure to get G-rated not E-rated. The E-rated tires on the heavy trailers are the one's you always hear failing.

Happy with my Sailuns after 5k miles so far. They are a truly commercial grade tire, not a barely good enough trailer tire like most options. The S637 is actually an all position tire used on medium duty trucks in the more common 17.5, 19.5 and 22.5 wheel sizes. The S637 ST is just the same construction in the standard 16" trailer wheel sizes. If my tires ever die, I am going to replace my trailer wheels with 17.5" rims most likely and get some Load Range H/J tires on there, Sailun will be one of the first options I consider.

We bought a 371 Fuzion toyhauler in Nov '14 that came with 235x85x16 637 Sailuns. I had never heard of them and saw made in China on the sides and thought they were junk..boy was I wrong. They lasted 3-1/2 yrs until we traded the camper in on our Solitude. Built like a commercial truck tire and they can take a beating.

Thanks for all the input. I haven't had this rig long and its has a set of Samson tires (which I've never heard of either) on it currently. They are late 2015 tires so its time.
