What type double sided tape on window
I am replacing a window that I assume some little boy shot out with a BB gun. GRRRR.
I have the window in hand and just need to know what kind of double sided tape I should use to replace what GD originally installed with the windows.
Any ideas?Jeff and Jen

I had to replace a window on our old TT. The OEM tape was a butyl tape. Very sticky and tar like. Makes a very good seal. I am not sure if that is what used today. 3M makes VHB (Very High Bond) double sided tape. This is used in many structural applications so I am sure it would work very well. Both the Butyl and VHB are available in several thicknesses. I think I used 1/8” thick on the TT.
Please let us know what you decide on.
