Good post .... I will do something picking up 2930 RL in 7 days ... may just get new cord with a 90 on it .... and use other cord at home with custom fit 2x4 prop-up ... then I do not have to drag cord off camper when home ... no hurry I will figure it out ... later Frank

I also like what Tibbs did... Except for getting down on my old knees to plug it in. Maybe go back to a hard wired cord like the 30 amp days? No... I know that's no good either.
For now I'm making up my own cords. We don't use much in the way of power hog appliances, so unless we're using the AC, ten gauge SOOW is plenty and it's night and day more manageable than the RV cables.

I support the cord with a piece of double sided velcro at the bottom corner of the slide (which is straight out from the cord). A big arch of the cord and tie it off. Now the downward strain is at the velcro. It's just too simple. KEN

I purchased the Marinco unit and have used it now for 3 years. Excellent product and well made. I prefer this over the Camco

We purchased a "right angle" 50amp adapter. Perfect.

For those in small RV's without the second AC - you likely can run everything just fine on 30 amps. I got a Camco 50-30 right angle adaptor that plugs into the socket on the trailer...and use the 30 amp cord I had leftover from my old fifth. MUCH easier to deal with, and less wear and tear. I still carry the 50 amp cord, but haven't used it in the last two years....
