I use the Buggbanner now and it works but on the Momentums, the banner does not sit snug on the bottom because of the point on the front cap. If I would have placed it about 3-4 inches higher, it might have stayed snugger. I use "BugSlide", https://www.bugslide.com, on the front cap. I also use this on my motorcycle and cars. Its like RainX for bugs. Spray it on then buff. To clean, spray it on, wipe of bugs and buff.

Griot's Garage makes a product called Bug Barricade that I have used on my cars in the past that works great. You simply spray it on the area you want protected and the bugs wash away when you wash your rig. I will be applying it to the front of my Solitude this spring .

Sorry I can't help out with your intended question, but you mentioned the "ceramic coating". What exactly is that?

A Ceramic Coating (such as Opti-Coat Pro, C.Quartz, and Ceramic Pro) is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory paint, creating a layer of protection.

That Ceramic Coating should not be confused with the ceramic film applied to windows... two distinctly different applications, but same principle.

The Ceramic Window film is meant to decrease heat transfer; it's applied inside your windows on your car/truck/RV similar to window tinting. The ceramic is embedded in window film. My wife just had it applied to her Honda Odyssey and the stuff works amazing. It added about $200 to the tinting job for all her windows including her front windshield and moon-roof (no tint on her windshield though). It took about 5 days to "cure' on her windshield though and the shop applying it did inform us of that fact. I'm going to have my F450 windows and moon-roof done as well.

The one applied to paint comes in a liquid form. The "ceramic" is suspended in the liquid. It's applied by hand within a specific temperature range (70-85 degrees) and typically takes one or two coats. There are different products out there as previously posted and they can be applied by you or professionally.

for a cheap solution, try the carpet protector sold at Lowes, etc. Just like saran wrap, but self stick on the one side. easy to remove. You have probably seen it in RV's on display to keep the carpet clean.

Did you have the film and tint applied to your moon roof? I was told, by my tint shop, you couldn't tint the moon roof as it is special glass and would shatter, crack, or something like that.

Back on topic - I've used spray pledge wax with good success on truck front.
