Years go I bought a small aerosol can of lock lubricant. Graphite I believe. Very small tube snorkel to get the stuff inside. At the first hint of lock balkiness a couple squirt in the tumbler assembly will keep it working smooth. If you let it progress to where your jamming a knife in, you waited too long to do preventative maintenance. The RV being exposed to the weather more, and with cheaper less reliable parts, need lots of PM.

My 2019 Momentum 395M has only one key that fits the doors and all the other locks around the outside. Haven’t experienced any lock problems.

Smoothed the end of the keys with fine sandpaper thinking they were too sharp.....nothing has helped, Going to contact the dealer to see if I can get a fix for the tumbler and the keys. Still a great trailer.
This is the best lube ever and doesn't collect dust or dirt.

Yes, the graphite, a shot of dry lube, or lithium grease (used for garage doors) works great. I personally like the CRC Power Lube and it works great to lube the slides gears and rails also.

I second all the comments about graphite lube... Especially with new locks. The cheap ones seem to have a lot of burrs and sharp edges internally so the lube helps until things wear in.
