    What's with the keys?

    I have a new 2020 TT that the key locks are terrible. None of the keys will go in the key locks without extreme difficulty. I have to use a pocket knife to move the small cover to get the key in. My wife can't do it at all. Now the top door lock tumbler came out when I unlocked the door and withdrew the key. It's still on the key. What the hey. I tried wd-40 no help. Smoothed the end of the keys with fine sandpaper thinking they were too sharp.....nothing has helped, Going to contact the dealer to see if I can get a fix for the tumbler and the keys. Still a great trailer.

    I had the same problem with our 2019 337RLS and a spritz of WD-40 cleared up the problem. Too bad that didn't work for you and hopefully the dealer will be able to fix the problem quickly.

    I remember my locks were difficult to use when the rig was new. After many uses the locks became easier to insert the keys. I ended up replacing them with RVlock https://www.rvlock.com/.

    I had a bit of trouble with mine as well. I lubed them all with graphite and that worked wonders.

    Locks on these things are cheap. Everyone has a key to your storage compartments. Only key that is unique is the door lock. The dealer can order you some nice locks for your 5er.

    I found the best solution is to go camping more! They get better with time (and some type of lube).

    Tips from my locksmith;

    Many lubricants will collect dust and dirt, making things worse.

    Try bicycle chain cleaner and then lots of dry graphite powder.

    This. I've had 3 GD's and all three had dry hard to work locks. Bought that little white tube of dry graphite lube from Home Depot I think and it makes them turn like butta
