Totally agree the site is awesome. In the week or two I've been lurking I've learned so much.

I'm defiantly going to become a supporter once I figure out how.

    BTW: nice looking setup!

I pulled the 399TH home about 100 miles including up and down some grades (nothing more than 5%) and it towed great. The power was incredible in this truck...way more than needed. My 399TH had a mostly full tank of water and full LPG tanks, but otherwise it was empty, so I'm guessing maybe 16.5K towing.

I did have the gain on the trailer brakes up to 7 during my flat road testing outside the dealership and set it to 7.5 on highway. Braking was great.

This is the biggest/heaviest trailer I've ever owned or towed and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it maneuvered. That said, I still stayed about 60mph on the LA freeways... it's LA after all... everyone cuts you off and middle fingers thrown were only thrown up at me once... but, it was far less than when driving CODE 3 in a fire engine, lol

Great looking rig and welcome to the forum.
I just did. Thank you for the heads up!

Congrats on getting the rig. Been to LA twice, but never drove there. And I never will. My niece got married there. They moved to Vegas a couple of years ago. We went there for a conference for my wife. I didn't drive there either. My niece laughed at me when I told her I refused to drive in that traffic. I tend to not be patient in heavy traffic. That is not good towing a rig.

Congratulations on the new duo; you can see I'm running a similar but smaller setup. Great match.
