    Strange film on windows

We have some sort of strange “film” on the windows on our 2020 Solitude 310 gk-r. We’ve so far tried dawn and water, windex, vinegar, acetone, wd40 and several other products and nothing will remove it. Has Anyone else had this issue? It’s on the interior and the exterior. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 2020 Reflection 337RLS and it also had some kind film on the windows. I figured it was from the production process. Windex and LOTS of rubbing with a clean cloth took it off.

If windex cuts it with “elbow grease”, straight ammonia might cut it faster. I’d put it on the rag, not the window, and use plenty of ventilation!

Try 90+% isopropyl alcohol and a razor blade. The film on the inside is likely different than what's on the outside. Isopropyl should strip both. If not, report back and I can share some options.

Can't answer the question , but just be glad it isn't off gassing from a corpse.

I've found that using a squeegee after sponging with ammonia & dishwashing liquid solved the problem when the issue is off-gassing from plastics. I don't really have an explanation but it's easy to give it a shot. I've even used the windshield cleaning fluid & squeegee at the gas station on the inside of windows and had it work better than paper towels and glass cleaner.

Are you using paper towel to clean the windows? That can leave a film as well. Try good old black and white newspaper instead and see if that cuts the film down.

Thanks to all for the advice. Will try some of these options and post the results. Thanks
