All the slide toppers I've had were noisy when the wind blew, they last about 5 years. Pine needles and leaves manage to get under them. IMHO they are not worth the cost

Normally I would have agreed with you but the recent experience has me considering adding these. Our last trip for the season was at Thanksgiving and we got wet/heavy snow that then turned to ice. This made getting the slides in a serious challenge. I know we will have other issues to deal with with the toppers but they would have helped us in this situation. I say that because we forgot to bring the canopy in and it collapsed under the weight of the snow. Thought it was ruined. But once we pushed the snow/water off of it...it sprung right back into place. This took all of 5 minutes.

I try to avoid ice and snow. My toes get too cold with my flip flops
