I just installed the Haloview RD7 Mini on my RL2500. Picture looks great. Will be giving it the real test in a couple of weeks. Taking a run to North Carolina. Short test run after install at 55 mph showed good results. The real key is antenna placement. Take your time with the install and think it out. You get enough parts that you can have several options.

@scottld - We are getting ready to install the Haloview RD7 Mini on our RL2500. Where did you mount your booster and did you use the Furrion shark fin mount and adapter? We are trying to decide if we need to run the cable all along the top of the RV to get it nearer to the front.

We have a 37 foot 5th wheel that is pre-wired for furrion camera. Works great, no reception issues and did not use the booster.

We ordered the Haloview 7 Inch 720P Wireless Range Dominator System RD7 MAXi from Haloview since the Haloview website recommended it for the total vehicle length of our truck and trailer. That system came with the booster. We maybe didn't need the booster, but since we have it we are trying to figure out where to put it.

Here are a few pics of my install of the Haloview RD7 Mini. Did a 500 mile run to N. Carolina never a problem full signal all the time. This is installed on a 2020 2500 RL.Click image for larger version.

ID:	27883 The only place I mounted the cable on the roof was to get around the awning. Also notice that the antenna is pitched forward, this gave optimal signal. I did not use the cable straps that came with the camera. I went to Home Depot and bought the 1 x 1 squares and removed all adhesive down to the plastic and installed the 3M heavy duty. Make sure your surface is CLEAN before install. I used alcohol. Also purchase the wire ties that have the stainless clips. All tabs are at 16" center. On the roof I used Dicor.

Great idea. Never thought about running it under the awning. Thank you!

I've just ordered my RD7 Mini today. How did you attach the repeater to the side of the coach? Thanks.

I bought the extra heavy duty 3M velcro at Home Depot. It came with velcro but the 3M is made for outdoor use and can hold 10 lbs. Over kill on the install but once and done. Also a note I put a little clear caulk where the antenna makes a 45. This keeps it in place during high speed pursuit !!!

Thanks for this! So, we bought a new 303RLS that comes with the Furrion bracket mount, so are you saying that you take it off and then just put this system up in its place. I cut and pasted your info to Amazon, and it looks like this comes with a bracket (I am very new to this so forgive my ignorance, lol). BTW my family used to vacation at our cabins (now sold) at Skeleton Lake in the Muskokas...beautiful!
