I think the F350 SRW LWB truck will handle the pin weight of the camper OK. Specs from Grand Design show 2,090 pounds empty. If you add a generator from the factory and extra batteries you can add about 400 lbs easily. Any clothes...washer/dryer are usually put in the nose of the camper and the weight will be partially transfered into the pin weight. I'd use 2,500 pounds as a max pin weight before looking at a DRW. The 8' bed on a F350 is nice with the 48 gallon fuel tank but turning these long wheelbase trucks can be a pain in tight spots no mater if they are SRW or DRW's. For towing I would use the 18" tires and wheels for more sidewall cushioning. Good luck with your decision and continue doing your homework!

Yup. At 4561 you should have plenty of payload capacity. I kinda expected to see a number at or just below 4000. That’s only 1000 lbs. less than the dually I just sold , and it was 14k GVWR. Looks to me like the actual curb weight is 7889 , 12450 less the 4561 ccc. If getting a killer deal , sign the waiver and move on. If not , there are plenty of other Ford dealers.
Good luck , CharlieVickie & Charlie

My 367BHS fully loaded is 13880. Pin weight 3060. Im 10 lbs over payload but 380 under axle. Tows fine with my 2017 SRW.
I burn off 10lbs of fuel before I even get to the freeway.

Dealer says truck is undersized and requires a waiver to sell it to me
The guy next to us has that same Reflection and is towing it with an F250.
Yea he’s overweight on payload, probably a thousand pounds or more, heck even I am with my tiny 220RK but our 3/4 ton trucks are both diesels so they’ll still tow and stop these rigs easily.
I’ve come to the conclusion that 3/4 of people towing are overloaded but have yet to see any proof that it matters to (or any violations are enforced by) any regulated agency.

I don’t have numbers but I pull a 337 with a 2019 f350 SRW with 6.7. Pulls great very stable no worries at all. Like said before if getting a good deal sign the waiver, if the deal isn’t good move to the dealer down the street.

The 337 model weighs UVW: 10,697 lbs | Hitch Weight: 2,090 lbs. This is well within the specs of that F350 SRW.
It's the same weight as my 323BHS, and I tow it with an early model F250 2x4. And I don't have one bit of squat even without any air in my rear air bags. I do recognize that I'm max'd out however. You have much more lbs. left before maxing out than me.
Tell the dealer what you carry is of no regard to them, and they can choose to sell you the truck without any waiver or you'll take your business elsewhere. I worked 24 years for Ford Motor Company, and I never experienced any waiver of any kind by a customer. And by the way, the difference between the SRW and DRW is $1,480--not $2,500.
I know a dealer that's selling F350 SRW models for $9000 under MSRP, and he has 12 in stock.Last edited by Bamaman; 02-07-2020 at 06:56 PM.

Wow that's a lot of payload for a SRW F350! Ford must have raised the ratings for the 2020 models, makes me really curious to see what my F450 has when it arrives. My '19 dually is rated at 5268 payload, only 750 or so more than that SRW!
