    29RS Kitchen slide leak

Our first RV and it went out of warranty in June. Noticed water in the cabinet next to refrigerator. Thought it was condensation so next trip made sure the frig was completely dry. Water found in same cabinet after a big rain so took it to the dealer who couldn’t find anything wrong said “we’ll just have to watch it”. Next big rain, slide in and haven’t used the refrigerator - found water standing in cabinet and under slide. Doormat was soak. Have taken back to the dealer. I am just sick thinking of what is being ruined in the framework. Any ideas appreciated.

    Hi Margaret,
If slide was in and it still got wet, I'm sure you can eliminate the slide roof, but might still check mylar taped TPO at exterior wall joint.
You may want to check the sealant around the window perimeter for any breaches.
Also, I've read somewhere that water can get into behind the rubber weatherstrip and if heavy enough, it can find its way into the wall cavity thru a clogged weep hole,
then, find a seam and come out where the wall meets the floor.
May want to remove the four screws hiding the electrical run on floor to see where its actually coming from next rain.

    we ALL hate leaks !!
