    So many variables....
On the current setup, long term average is 8.5
Bucking a strong headwind across South Dakota, as low as 3 (!)

On my old fifth, same length and weight as my current TT - after 12,000 miles, including very many high mountain passes out west, the average was 10.5. Same truck.

Towing my 29rs from Texas to CO at 70 mph got 8.5 mpg
Towing a Deere skid steer, bucket, pallet fork, post hole digger at 70 from Texas to CO got 8.8 mpg
Towing a Deere 620 tractor and my Polaris General at 75 mph from CO to TX got 9.5 mpg
Towing a load of farm equipment (all fairly low profile so less wind resistance) and the Polaris General and on my 24' Alumna bumper pull trailer got 11.5 mpg running at 70-75 mph. (TX to CO)
Towing the 24' Alumna trailer with a 79 Chevy truck on the back and running 70-75 (with occasional 80 mph) got 12.5 mpg (CO to Texas)

From TX to CO is an increase in altitude of over 7000', coming home it's downhill so I nearly always get better. Also as you can see towing high profile loads make a big difference.

These pulls were with my 16 SD with the 6.7 PSD, 3.55 and 20" tires. I just ordered a 2020 F350 with the 6.7, 3.31 rear end, 10 sp tranny and 18's so I am looking forward to hopefully improving these numbers.

Over Christmas we drove round trip from Sequim, WA (on the Olympic Peninsula) to Tucson, AZ and back. The trip down was via Hwy 101 until just north of San Francisco and then over to I-5 and down. So, most of the driving was at 55 +/-. I missed one fill up in my log, so only recorded 4700 miles. I averaged 10.6MPG. I've got a 2018 Dodge 3500 DRW with 4.10 gears and a Refection 337RLS.

    You're welcome.

I guess the way I look at it, is whatever mileage I get is what I get.
Too many variables. Depending on where you live, the posted speed limit, hills, passes, wind, and a myriad of other influences will determine your mileage.

I also tend to see diesel owners post exaggerated fuel mileage numbers. (Not necessarily on this site. Just in general.)

Average 10-12 running 35's and same with my 19.5's, 2019 Ford F450 4x4 with 4:30's, depends on terrain and load weight, but plan for 10mpg average. I also have BANKS DERRINGER programmer set on Level 2 when towing, helps about .5 - 1mpg difference than stock.

We tow a Transcend 26RLS TT with 2018 Ram 2500 CTD and we average around 12 MPG when towing no faster than 65 mph. I just added a Leer cap to the truck for added storage and I'm wondering how it will impact the mileage when towing. Only time will tell.
