Soon to be Imagine XLS 22MLE Owner
Ours is on order, and we should take delivery in early March. This will be our 4th trailer, starting 10 years ago with a pop up. Most recently was a Raptor 26FS toy hauler. Glad to be going down a bit in size and weight. We set out to purchase a late model used trailer. In the process, we came across the GD Imagine XLS's. Recent RV show, saw them again, and decided to expand the budget a little bit. Very excited to get this new trailer. We had been looking for U shaped dinette, as we enjoyed the one on the Raptor so much. But it had 6 inch foam, tons of room, with thick angled backrests. Easy to do in an 8 foot wide dinette. Other dinettes have been killer. The MLE gives us a variety of seating options, including the comfy recliners. And the storage in the GD's is beyond almost anything else we have seen. Space usage is great in all of the shorter models. I'll be looking for passthrough storage mods.

Welcome to the forum Charlie and Barbara,
Hope you are happy with your Grand Design. The build quality of ours was very good. Grand Design has a reputation for great customer service but we have never had to use it.
Lots of help and ideas here and with your experience hopefully you can add to the conversations.
If you take delivery in early March it is very probable that the rig was towed over salty roads. You will want to make sure your dealer does a good job of washing that salt off.
Have fun and enjoy!

Thank you, and thanks for the tip on the salt. I have seen first hand what that can do.

Hi all, newbie to this forum and RVing. After we rented and small hybrid 2 summers ago we got hooked. We've been shopping since (by floor plan) and we finally put the deposit on a 2020 22MLE last night. We are so exited.
