We bought a Pulsar 4000 for its specs and reliability recommendations. Starts and stops with a BT button so very convenient and sips fuel as well. We got ours on sale at Newegg for $650. I built a couple of short ramps and wheel it right in and out of my front compartment for storage. Works a treat and I don't have to lift it.

90% of the time we run a Yamaha 1000 converted to propane. This is for boondocking to charge the batteries when it rains 3 days straight and not enough solar. Runs 12 hours on 1/2 gallon propane. When we need A/C we have a Predator 3500 gasoline. Runs great for one A/C.

Do you wire all three generators in parallel? Cool! How?

You are probably asking me but not sure. Quote the comment and then ask the question.

This is sort of amusing. We have the 2 Honda 2000 generators and bought a Champion 3000 and my husband is considering selling the Hondas!

Yamaha EF3000iSEB inverter. Will give me 3000 watts and 3500 for the A/C startup. Heavy but built to last. Love it!

A single Honda 2200 can easily run a big 15,000 BTU roof air (in Texas during the Summer).

We bought this instead of the 3000 because we didn't want to have to lift that big sucker.
The small Honda fits in small places and my wife can pick it up.
If we decided we wanted more power, we'd just get a second one and run them in parallel on that rare occasion.

Here's a video I shot running the roof air on our Honda: VIDEO LINK

Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

Do you have a soft start on that a/c unit?
