Go with the 4:10 gearing and be done with it. The ability to stay in cruise control and go over the many, long pull and steep passes we have in the west make it a no brainer.

The issue is that all the 2019 models I have found with deep discounts have the 3.55.

I really like the 4.10's in my '17 F350 DRW..tows our 377MBS Solitude very easily and stable in high winds also. Never thought I would be getting 15 mpg around town and up to 17 mpg on the hwy when empty.

Nice! Does the 2020 also have the 10 speed transmission? Any other significant changes from the 2019? The 2019's are much cheaper right now.

the 2020's have the 10 speed and no incentives or cash discounts. You will have to order your truck if you want a F450 or a DRW truck. I don't think dealers have them sitting on there lots.
Another thing check with your DMV, registration may be a bit much on a 450.
As for turning radius that makes no difference My 3/4 tun turns just fine.
If you need a DRW truck you can get the 4.10. SRW only has 3.55's
I have 3.31's in mine and was concerned weather it would tow but the 6.7 is a beast and it pulls my 34' just fine.
I rented a Mustang with the 10 speed and wasn't a fan. I never thought the car was in the right gear. It did shift nice and would downshift ok. I just wonder how that transmission will do towing a 5th wheel.
The 2020 has 475HP and 1,050 torque way more than the 2019 model.

There are 2020's on lots in Canada. I plan on purchasing a 376th at 41' and 16,000 lbs dry. What is your current tow vehicle and RV?

You can buy the F450's on commercial lots but not many around here. My dealer doesn't even sell DRW's. I was surprised because its located in farm country. I have a F2350Farmers just don't buy DRW trucks LOL.
I currently have a 15 F250 and currently have a 03 Montana 3280 RL. I am going to buy a Solitude 344 GK later this year. I have backed into a lot of places and never a issue. towed more than 35,000 miles so far. I consider myself experienced RV'er LOL I have been to more than 55 cities and towns so far and some of them more than once. I have backed into spaces many times and I am not bad at it.
I see you are in the frozen tundra LOL
What do most RV'ers drive where you live? I am not sure that a DRW is very good in the snow. Just because it has 4 tires on the back doesn't make it better. I would figure out what trailer you want then find the truck to tow ir. Maybe you don't want a DRW and can find something that fits your needs without the DRW. I couldn't go with a bigger 5th wheel than the 344 GK without a bigger truck.
