Just picked up my new 2020 Imagine 2800BH and new to the forum.

Just picked up my Imagine 2800 BH Tuesday and got her home. Honestly it's a little bigger than I was planning, but it's nice and confidante comfortable. After much research it seems GD was the best with quality and other features (used this forum a lot too). It's paired with a 2020 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 V8. I have towed more with less so I'm used to towing and it feels great going down the highway. I may adjust the WD hitch a little to improve his she sits. I'm well within the limits of the truck and once fully loaded I plan on running across the scales to verify. I also got a equalizer hitch as well since that was one of the highest rated ones. I drove around a bit and didn't have any issues with sway. Well I hope to continue to learn more as I start the new journey with this RV.Click image for larger version.

Welcome from another Imagine (albeit smaller) owner! Nice to see her sitting somewhere with blue sky and no snow on the ground. Hope you can get out there soon and start your adventures!

Welcome to the club! Let me be the first to warn you, the imagine line has a much higher tongue weight than GD publishes. It’s very common to be in the 900-1000lb range. I suggest a trip to the scales or a Shurline scale to check it and pack accordingly as not to exceed your specs.

    Happy Trails!

Yeah I plan on running it across a scale to verify. If anything is to crazy then will make the necessary adjustments as needed. I am going to adjust the WD hitch up one to make it level. I have about 1.5 inch squat on the rear.

To follow up on what Flip said about Hitch weight.
We weighed our 2450 LR on 1st trip fully loaded.
Actual tongue weight 920 lbs. GD said it was 571
which is before propane and battery, but GD was
    still light on Tongue Weight.

Nice set up! I have the 2018 version.

Fyi - with a full fresh water tank, my tongue weight is just under 900 lbs.

Thanks, I noticed that my weight distribution system was not properly set which could
account for my heavier weight. We love our rig, it is the perfect couples trailer for us.
You mentioned a full tank of water, Is our water tank over the axles??
    Thanks
