sink replacement

My bathroom sink in my 29rs was leaking. I tightened up the drain and cracked the sink. Are RV sinks different than a sink from Lowes? In other words do i have to buy one from a RV dealer. It's a fairly small sink.

Not sure what your bathroom sink looks like, but I replaced the plastic outside kitchen sink with a SS from Menards. I had to cut the opening bigger for it to fit, but otherwise everything should match, or be modified to work just fine.

Yeah, you do not 'have to' buy from an RV supply unless you want a fast, exact fit replacement. For a lot of the typical camper lavatories, common wet bar sinks make for higher quality replacements with a little countertop modification.

@johndeerefarmer I replace my small stainless steel sink with a larger one off of Amazon. A couple of hours of my time and much better than the small one that was there. Just make sure that whatever you buy is slightly bigger or is an exact fit. I would go slightly bigger because likely too difficult to find an exact fit unless you go with the direct RV replacement.

THat looks nice! I know my wife does not like the faucet in our rig - I had to shift it forward as much as possible and still not quite enough. This looks like a good option.

It depends. If I get one "grown" in the Manheim Germany plant it takes about 3 months to get it here. After it's built it comes via ship to the Port of Galveston. Then from their to my dealer in southern OK.

I'm not sure you really have to buy a special sink for your RV. Ok, there may be some problems with typical granite sinks, but I don't think you meant it.
