New to Grand Design and to the forum. Picked up our GD 315RLTS last week from McClains RV in Sanger Tx. We had a great experience and Hunter Pruett in sales, is a pleasure to deal with. Josh in Finance and Jackie’s walk-thru were very helpful also. The dealership has a KOA on site and they will let you camp a night to become familiar with the unit. We actually stayed from Thursday thru Monday to be sure there were no problems. The only issue we had was the check valve on the water heater tank. 10 minute fix and we were on our way. Highly recommend the sales staff, kudos from our friends on service but a reference from us is still TBD. Looking forward to meeting more GD owners.

Hi and welcome to the family. It won't be difficult meeting other GD owners. The number of GD units we see today compared to when we bought in early 2015 is amazing. Maybe well see you down the road someday. Watch for the National rally to be announced in early april in our Rally section.

My wife and I are in the process working with McClain's on the purchase of a Reflection 31MB. We've heard mixed things about McClain's and their service dept. Do you have any feedback you could provide on your experience?

jptx350...Perfect timing. I called McClains in Sanger Tx. in November and made a December 21st appointment for repairs. Picked up our unit on January 21st (exactly 1 month later and a light had to be ordered). They repaired 4 minor issues and all were warranty items. Repairs were completed and the experience was excellent. We actually have 3 McClains closer to us but chose Sanger (83 miles away) because of feedback on their service and the experience we had with Hunter in sales. Hopes this helps, so far couldn’t be happier with the 315RLTS or the dealership.

@NanaPawi - That’s great information! Putting down a deposit and signing paperwork this morning with McClain’s in Denton. Sanger is about the same distance to us. Being new to the RV world, I wasn’t a fan of hearing every dealer tell me that if I didn’t buy from them, I wouldn’t be able to use their service department. Once I realized that’s the industry norm, I got over it. McClain’s was the first dealer to tell me that when I started calling around. I heard that was often used as a sales tactic, but partially true. Just initially felt a little threatened by my dealer, ha!
