We always shoot for 25% to 30% off and 5 star service.

A dealer could be zero stars customer service and Grand Design doesn’t care.
The appalling Orange County Ca dealers are good examples.

I know this is two years old, but I'm on SOCAL myself. What dealer did you end up going to?

It's all changed now.
The dealer will tell you their is a trailer shortage and that's pure nonsense.
Shortage of motorhomes but not of trailers so don't fall for that.

Onan was having some issues delivering 5.5's but that seems to have passed.
Nipomo Ca/Laura and Salinas dealers had the best deals.
Avoid Southern Calif dealers.

You can buy through Grand Design and have it shipped to a designated dealer. Pick a dealer with a 5 star service dept.

That’s the first I’ve ever heard of that. Seems to me the dealer network wouldn’t like GD taking sales away from them.

If there wasn't a shortage then why are so many on back order? From what I've seen certain parts of the country have more RV's than others.

Here in Fl, one dealers discount is 26.5% another is 16% off a 47K MSRP. Both include frt and fees. Used 2022 units are asking more than the discounted price for new. Turns out last year the used seller paid 42K for a new 2022, and a 2023 new was offered to me for 34K.
