I purchased my 2019 303rls in May of 2018. I ordered built as it was not on the lot. The dealer sent me a GD build sheet with base price, mandatory options, and dealer/consumer options, each with the added MSRP cost. There were only about 5 choose-able options. 12 cu ft fridge, table and chairs as opposed to booth, 2nd AC, double pane windows, 2nd awning on dining slide. We went with all but the double pane windows. Our agreed to price vs MSRP reflected a 29% discount.

I bought a 2020 Imagine 2400 and they ended up sending a 2021 (so I guess a higher MSRP associated with the 2021), so without freight a 35% discount off of MSRP. I did not get any add-ons in the deal and will be buying a hitch.

Dumb me, my discount was 29%, not 35. Sorry.

Shop around. We had to drive 200 miles to find a dealer with 5 star service and deep discounts.
We always shoot for 25% to 30% off and 5 star service.

A dealer could be zero stars customer service and Grand Design doesn’t care.
The appalling Orange County Ca dealers are good examples.
    Dive Bar,

Just wondering where you find good information on service ratings? You just looking at Google and Yelp reviews?

Do you have a dealer to recommend? We are in the San Diego area.

UPDATE: Due to the government lock up do not expect any discount ANYWHERE. Demand is so high for RV'S currently because families need to get away, the days of getting ANY discount are long gone.

I would stay out of So Calif. Their service depts are horrible and Grand Design knows it and simply does not care. Especially the OC.

Gilroy and Nipomo and the dealers North of them much better. They all offered good deals before the COVID. Demand is high. May have changed now. We ordered ours and were told 8 to 9 week delivery, we took delivery in 3.

It's still mostly you deal with a lot donkey that has to talk to their manager. That's unnecessary.
We simply sent them what we wanted and they sent back a price.
The So Cali dealers wouldn't do that.
