Reflection 31MB- how much did you pay?

My wife and I will be soon buying a Reflection 31MB. This will be a cash sale. We are paying for it upfront without financing.

I was wondering what the average price paid for this unit was. I saw someone here post that they paid $41k for their 2020 Reflection 31MB which I think is a great deal.

I am hoping to get a 2020 31MB for around $45k or less. Is that realistic???

Should I tell the salesperson that it is a cash sale, or keep that to myself?

This would be our first 5th wheel. I grew up going camping in my parents 5th so I know what to expect as far as actually using it goes.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Most folks try to get 25-30% off MSRP for a current year model. You can go to the Grand Design website and see what the MSRP is by using the Build and Price function for the 31MB.

I don't mention how we're paying for cars or RV's up front because I think some dealers may get a kickback for financing and may not offer as deep of a discount if they knew we were paying cash. I don't know if they actually get kickbacks for financing but I still don't tell them how I plan to pay until we pick it up.

I played the game and offered to pay cash and asked for a little more off. The salesman said it didn't even matter to these days. A sale was a sale in their book. Take it for what it's worth!

We are picking up our 31MB next week. It was priced with slide out covers, second a/c, and dual pane windows and was priced at just over $41k. That's a little more than 30% off with the extras. We went to the Hershey RV Show and got pressured hard to buy that evening. We did not buy. I called a local dealer (~80 miles away) and started a small bidding war. The dealer at the show actually beat the local guy by almost $2000. I received that text sitting in his office. I felt more comfortable staying local and reminded them several times that I left that money on the table. Best of luck!

I agree. That's a steal! Great job lloydrb. I've set a budget of around $46k and I'm hoping to get a 31MB for under that.

Might be the wrong thread, but has anyone had issues with the schwintec slides? About to go on our first 1000mile trip and I'm not a fan how much the bottoms stick out with the wheel fairing? Their argument is that it seals enough to hold a piece of paper it is OK. Which I understand. But they don't understand that 60mph winds on a piece of plastic is a recipe for disaster. I think we paid right at $45k for our 31MB with the 2nd A/C and Dual Pane windows. Probably spent half that on upgrades since... Kidding of course but man do the extras add up!

    Good luck!

    Perfect. Thank you.

39-45k is about what I am looking at. I'm not going over 45k. Thanks!
