    Suspension up grades

I have a 2019 310GK. I want to up grade the suspension I am thinking Morryde CRE3000 and heavy duty shackle kit. My question are the CRE3000 ask for a wheel base of 33" or 35" when I measure mine its 36" so I am wondering what Grand Design is using on the newer Solitude what part number is it. Also is using the performance crossmembers a good ideal. I also will be doing disc brakes.

Are you sure you are measuring correctly? Search for the CRE3000 qualifier instructions and it shows the specific measuring points.

I will have to measure again. I measure axle center to center. I will go under the trailer and take some more measurements. Thanks would you know anything about the X factor cross members? Good or bad.

I've heard good things about x factor but didnt install them on mine. I wanted to install them, but my rear sewer discharge pipe blocks 2 of my 3 axles where the x factor needs to go so I opted not to do it. I did install the HD shackles and CRE3000 and am happy with those upgrades.

The Morryde website has the specific instructions for measuring correctly to ensure the CRE3000 will work for you.

I have the CRE3000 installed on my 2018 303RLS and just ordered an x factor brace. After reading a 30+ page post on suspension parts breaking it appears most failures have had the rear wheel shackles breaking off from frame. Wont get into lengthy details of why but my solution to head off a possible problem is to install the brace accross the rear shackles to spread out the stresses across both sides instead one just one side. It may not solve the potential problem but its my way of adding to my piece of mind. In future I will add it to front also but budget limits me for now.

I put SRE4000s with the HD Shackle and Wet Bolts on my 3740BH and have been very happy. 3x CrossMember braces installed as well since I was there.....So far so good!

If you call MorRyde they will help you. And if you ask them whether to upgrade to a CRE300 or SRE4000 with cross members I believe they will suggest going the SRE4000 route. It is a better system but we all have to spend our dollars wisely. I'm not sure of the cost difference.
