    Hot water heater settings ?

We just picked up our Imagine 2600RB and camped for the weekend.
Saturday morning I took a shower and the water was luke warm. I had the water heater on elect. Switched it to gas and waited about 20 minutes. Tested the water and it was still warm. I opened up a faucet and let it run for 3 or so minutes and then heard the water heater light up. I had hot water in just a short while. I tested it the next day and the water was warm again until I bleed the hot water for a few minutes until it fired up again. Is there a setting that I can change on this dude ?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I'm not familiar with your particular trailer or it's plumbing system but if it has an outdoor shower, make sure both of it's valves are closed. I saw a guy on YT who had similar issues and he found his outdoor shower faucet was left open which led to a lack of hot water. This may not help but it's easy to check!

    Here is his video:

Let us know if that helps.

Also, find where the bypass valves are for winterizing. If they are not fully set correctly, you can have the same issue.
The usual complaint is the water is way, way too hot. And no, there is not a way to adjust the temp.

Brian is right, but it doesn’t have to be a shower-the Imagines tend to have a spray port in the water center (pass through bay). Make sure those lucite knobs are closed regardless of whether your coily hose is attached. If your trailer was winterized on the lot, they were probably left open.

I found my water heater had adjustable temp. It was set to the lowest position-A, I dialed it up to C and it’s great now.

That's the first time I've seen an adjustable water heater in a Grand Design RV. Thanks for sharing!

Ditto - first ever on several different RV's I'm familiar with!

    Any info on brand/model number?

Figured out how to adjust on you tube, it also appears easy to put onto the heater. It’s on our original Atwood, gas/electric.
The A setting was warm, C setting is suppose to be 140....it’s hot!
