Reese Goosebox & 2017-2019 Ford F350 SB
Hello,
I found good posts on experience with the Reese Goosebox however I wanted to query F350/F250 owners (2017-2019 only) on the compatibility with the stock bed rail height and clearances on the tailgate. I've talked to a few folks on one of the F350 forums regarding the "fix" in 2020 to the bed and overall truck height (shorter blocks). I'm concerned as I currently have the Andersen Ultimate Hitch and stock gooseneck and I have decent clearances, however it is close enough that anything lower would be problematic.

Not a Ford owner here, but do run a Goosebox
(and my other trailers are all gooseneck) and I wanted to advise that you can get extended height goose balls that will help your clearance of the Goosebox, if needed. I'm sure some Ford owners will chime in as there are some running the Goosebox.Rob & Nikki + Cloverfield

Sorry to confuse, this is not an adapter. These are pop-in balls are machined with higher rise and fit right in the OEM puck systems.
For instance, check these and note the pictures with the dimensions:
