That means you will have a ~7000# truck trying to control a 15-20k trailer. The heavier truck is a GOOD thing to help maintain control.

I am have grown to be extremely skeptical of website claims for towing and payload. The door sticker from a truck on a dealer lot would be a lot more telling to me.

My SRW Ram 3500 weights 8320 lbs .... actual payload 4394 and will handle a 5th wheel up to about 14500 lbs ... no problem ... my weights loaded ready to camp http://www.towingplanner.com/ActualW...5280&w2da=3040 over that I say get a DRW ... and yes web pages mean nothing need a door sticker ... later Frank
