I have a B&W companion slider and use a hoist to remove it from the bed. Takes all of 5 minutes to remove then set it on a furniture dolly to move it out of the way. Both hoist and dolly are available at harbor freight. Also use this lifting device from B&W.

Clearly you have an agenda...do a search BW has failures as well. Lets face it anything man made can fail.

BTW not AUH hitches are aluminum either.

Not sure where you stand on the link you attached. The author clearly believed that it was a good thing the trailer separated.

I could not disagree more. When you pull a trailer, you commit to the whole package. You DO NOT get the luxury of thinking that when things go bad, the hitch will break and the trailer becomes someone else's problem!

I too have the B&W coupled with a turning point hitch on a 2019, 273mk behind the Tundra works like a dream. Quick to uninstall or reinstall and drop in the cover it’s like it doesn’t exist.
