    Size of awning?

My Brother-in-law has a Reflection and is quite disappointed at the size of his awning, not the length, but how far it (doesn't) extend out.

It looks to be only five feet or so.

I went and looked at a Solitude 305 at a dealer, but he didn't want to extend the awning due to snow and ice buildup on it.

So, the question is, how big is the awning on the Solitude line, is it sufficient?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

    Welcome to the forum!

Some Reflection models came with a 6' wide Solera awning...they've changed to an 8' wide on all models sometime in the 2015 model year. All Solitudes have 8' wide, Carefree awnings.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Great news! I'll let my BIL know, maybe he can get something done about his 'shorty'.

I don't know what can be done. The 8' awning would different arms and it looks like the awning rail is mounted higher on the sidewall to help accommodate the longer arm.
