Mattress Alternatives
We just sealed the deal on a 2020 22MLE. It will follow us home when the snow melts. We noticed that while it has a queen size bed, the mattress is very hard. What are some of you doing for toppers or are you just scrapping the mattress and buying something different?

My wife and I abandoned the topper routine two campers ago when we really started spending many more nights per year camping. So, our last camper had a queen size, and we went with a custom-made Verlo hybrid mattress. In our Solitude, we put a California King sized Purple 3 Hybrid in place of the RV king (fit with nothing to spare with the slide closed). Hands down, the Purple has been the best mattress we've ever owned for both of us, including the primo, top-of-the-line, split comfort, custom mattress I paid way too much for in our sticks and bricks!

My wife really likes the mattress...me, I think it's like sleeping on granite. Might as well sleep outside on the asphalt. Shure hope it wears out soon!

Costco toppers work fine. Full timers seem to replace the mattress.

We took delivery of our 2020 22MLE Saturday, and are on our first trip with it. My wife got a 3" foam topper for ours and I found it quite comfortable. The combination of the firm mattress for support, but the topper for pressure point relief was about perfect!

We have a 2020 2600 imagine. All the mattress in all the campers we tried 2019 and 2020 were bricks! absolute AWFUL. I tweaked my back on the first one not thinking I was going to plop on granite.
Purchased a new Sealy for the house and brought the "old" sealy into the camper. Must of looked hilarious from the neighbors house.

We spend around 80 nights per season in our Reflection. It was well worth it to purchase a good residential mattress to replace the RV mattress. By the way, in many RV's, a residential mattress will be longer than the RV mattress.

I just replaced mine with a short queen Comfort Zone® 10" Elite Mattress that I purchased at Camping World for ~$500. Fits fine. Much much better... Imagine XLS 21BHE
