You can always choose to camp where the honey wagon will dump you...they use their own hose. I like Area B, lots of shade.

Attached picture showing our setup last year in section A. A little hard to see possibly but if can zoom in you can see the run length of hose to the rear of the pad. We had 35" of hose hooked up with another 10' section if needed. The sewer and water hookups were lined up at the rear of the pads at least in the center section we were in. Depending on your model and sewer location(s) one could need more or less hose, of course.

I don't think "B" would work for us....the 394M is roughly 44' long, not counting the back patio if used, plus I'd like to get a 50A site. After looking at the map, my first choice would be section A.

I would suggest to you that you look at the Fairground's map again and have a second and third choice ready. "A" will fill up in about 20 minutes of registration opening!!
Last year we were in section "F". Had sewer, and 50 amp. There were Momentum in that section.
Good luck and hope to see you there.
As always, safe travels and good health.

    Need Help On Elkhart Fairgrounds

We are planning/hoping to go to the Natl Rally. Those of you that have attended which section would you suggest are the better sections? Prefer 50 amp, but we are open to other options? I understand the race track will not be a problem for this year as the event will have already taken place?

    Thanks!

We stayed in I section on the backside of the track. It was a little removed from the action but was great spot with dogs. Hope for that section again.

Walking around the grounds we thought most sections are fairly comparable in width and space you get. Most sites are pretty close together, definately laid out for attenence of a rally , not a camping experience. It all basically depends on how far from the vending and dining halls you want to be. The further out the quieter it is likely to be. There is a train that runs next to the grounds and no one totally escapes the sounds of that. There wil be shuttle golf carts (Gubers) running all day to aid in moving people around the grounds
