where's the water heater bypass
I have a 2014 Solitude 379 FL and for the life of me can't find the water heater so that I may bypass in preparation for storage.

The bypass is built into the Kantleak water center. By using the valves, you are bypassing the water heater.
Follow the procedures to winterize that are on the "cheat sheet", and you will be fine.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

But wouldn't you still have to manually drain the water in the hot water heater using the plug and the pressure/temp valve on top? And the electricity would need to be cut off prior to draining the tank to avoid burning out the electrical element.

The water heater on your 379 is on the driver's side, between the front 2 sides. It has a black cover, opens from the top, lid will swing down when open. There is a plug that needs to be removed, lower left side, kind of behind some tubing. As stated above, pull out the lever on the pressure relief valve near the top. All of this is after you have turned the valve in the Kantleak waster center to bypass the water heater.
I do not know where it is located on the 379, but on my 337 the drain valve for the fresh water tank is behind the rear axle on the drivers side. I have to crawl under the trailer a little, open a white slide valve, and back out before getting splashed with water.
The other steps in winterizing I assume you know.Robert & Sheila, Amarillo, TX
