Pullrite 4452 Hitch adapter for my slider hitch in my 2020 Silverado

I recently received the 4452 puck to rail adapter for my 2020 Silverado 3500. I own a Pullrite slider hitch and wanted to use it in the new truck but it would not fit. This adapter makes it so you can mount the hitch on top of the adapter. Only alternative for now from Pullrite. I know there is also a unit from Demco 6333 but both of these are currently hard to find. I am going to post some pictures of the completed install and list what I think are pros and cons. The people at pullrite were a great help. And special thanks to Dyers RV for getting this unit out to me in time for our maiden voyage

    Pros:
    Same brand as the hitch,
Hitch on top is still under the tonneau cover
    Heavy duty, install relatively easy

    Cons:
    Adds 80#+ to payload
Way too many pins involved in assembly, I would bet its gonna be a rattle trap.
Could have been more creative in design.

I have not pulled with this yet but will be soon. I will keep you posted

Thanks, for sharing this. I didn't realize they even had this option for the new GM 2020s. I thought the adapter rails were only for the 2015/2016-2019s for those of us with the previous generation mounting. Good to know this option is available until the 2020 GM hitch is ready.

Hello again, I have gotten many responses to this original post. Since then I had the opportunity to purchase the Demco 6333 for the same truck. Why may you ask did I buy another adapter. I was contacted from my local dealer about one coming in and I chose to check it out. It was so clean and simple I had to try it. The following are pictures of the install and what it looks like in the same truck with my pullrite hitch on top. Again I will list my pros and cons,
    Demco 6333
    Pro's
    Simple one pc. install
Total of 4 pins to use not 16
    Quiet does not rattle
Sits lower at least an inch lower

    Cons
    Pretty large
    Also expensive
Shims are a pain to adjust.

You guys take a look and see what you think you have the previous pictures of the 4452 and now the 6333
    Thanks again,
Anyone wanna buy a Pullrite 4452? LOL

    Why do you need shims?

There are thin shims that keep the anchor pins from rattling and keep them tight in a upward motion

I also had to get the Pullrite 4452 for my 2020 Chevy. As mentioned above, the 2019s and older have a different pattern. Those are everywhere and cheaper. Thanks GM. Anyway, my local hitch shop had one supplier with one 4452. I replaced the eight pins that hold the main rails to the cross members with 5 inch 5/8 shoulder bolts. The 5 inch length had a three inch shoulder which was the perfect length. The threads are outside the mating surfaces so will not wear down. I'm not taking it apart any time soon but it is solid. This is my first truck with the puck system. Now that I have it, not a big fan. I could have had industry standard rails installed on a non-puck truck for just over half the cost of the 4452.

I’m looking to purchase An adapter for my older pullrite to retrofit into my 2020 duramax.I was informed that I would need both the 4452 and 4409 for my setup. Did you use the pullrite 4409 with the demco 6333. Appreciate any help you can provide.

I noticed your post and am in the process of waiting for delivery of a 2021 GMC 3500 Denali. Moving from a F250 to the GMC, I need a new hitch and was seriously looking at the Pullrite setup that you have landed on. I have a Reflection 337RSL and see that you have a Momentum 395. With your trailer/truck/sliding hitch combination do you have any problem with your 5th wheel not being level (front high) or with bed rail clearance? If so, how did you address it since there is only one height setting for the Pullrite?

Thanks very much for your response.

I have a pullrite 4400 on my older truck, I upgraded and had to retrofit the pullrite to fit my 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. I contacted pullrite for technical help, I used the Demco 6333 and the pullrite 4409 in order to use my pullrite 4400. My fifth wheel is now nose high, I have one bolt hole left for adjustment on my pin box to lower my profile. If that doesn't work I may have to look at a different hitch, I'm looking at a used pullrite 2700 coupled with the demco 6333 to see if its at least an inch lower. Pullrite will not have a auto slider with the puck system available for my truck until the end of the year.
