Geocaching - Travel Trailer Bug
If you're into geocaching I'm sure you'll like this.
I had an old travel bug I used when I was geocaching on my motorcycle. I sold the motorcycle for a down payment on the travel trailer so I thought it was appropriate to turn that bug into a Travel Trailer Bug. I have this on both pass through doors and on the back above the spare tire.
Feel free to discover this bug just let me know what forum you saw this on. If you ever see it out in the wild please discover it again and stop by to say hello.

I used to geocache many years ago. I’d like to get back into it. I think I’ll dig up my old gps and go traipsing in the woods this weekend.
I’ll keep a lookout for you!

Geocaching has been off and on with me over the years. Also with phones getting better and better over the years nowadays you can usually just use a smart phone. Grab the geocaching app. If you get logged back in discover my Travel Trailer Bug - a good way to start back up.Charles and Susan

Went several times with my wife years ago. Actually liked it a lot. We should probably get back into it.

I like the app, Cachly. It's not free- $4.99 - but is easy to use and you don't need a GPS device.
It's been awhile since joining, I believe you need to setup a geocaching.com account (free) and link to that with Cachly. I used it with a Girl Scout troop in Pennsylvania. Kids loved it and we made a cache: Cookie Cache

ckreef, I love geocaching, got a few smiley faces in my log book!!! Travel bugs were great fun, grandchildren always liked when we found one. Not many these days. I hope to do more in our travels. Our 2600RB is due in later this month so will start camping early Sept. I will look for your" bug" at every site we go to, I'd love to log the traveling travel bug!!

I have the Geocache app and use that now but it costs 30 year for premium which means I can see and get everyone where the free app has limited caches....I find that to be one of the bad things about Geocaching, it used to be better before they charged.

Geocaching is a nice compliment to camping. On our last trip to Mountain View Campground in Hiawassee, Ga we did a few interesting caches. One took us to a really nice, small Vinyard and the other took us hiking up a nice mountain stream.
If you ever spot us make sure you stop by and say hi.Charles and Susan
