    15a control panel fuse blown

    last night wife retracted front awning & mistakenly hit the bedroom slide no big deal but control panel fuse keeps blowing anyone no where to start looking for the short all switches except tank heaters & awning lights do not work when they are turned on it blows fuse 2020 Solitude 344GK-R

    We had a similar issue with the same fuse. It ended just being a loose slot where the fuse plugged in. I took some needle nose pliers and pinched the fuse slots and all was well.

    not that put new fuse in it blew right away turned off all switches in panel red light goes off and fuse is good only switches that don't blow it are the awning light & tank heaters goes have to search for short

    will reply to my own thread unplugged all wires to awning switches behind monitor panel all is working now Except the awning (obviously) has to be a pinched wired in the awning

    On my unit the awning wires come from one corner at the top, run down the back channel (covered by plastic snap in cover) to the bottom and then up one arm to the motor (again covered by snap in plastic cover).
    If you can get the awning out, you can remove the covers and have full access to the wiring runs. There are several locations the wiring can easily get pinched.
