If you remember pulling into a gas station and the attendant running out, filling the tank, washing your windshield and checking your oil. Oh, and back then gas was 25cents/gallon and there were gas wars when prices would drop to 15 cents at one time.

Pizza was 15 cents/slice and when it went up to 25/cents we thought it was outrageous.

Your are old (not getting) if you remember getting gas out of one of those glass top gas pumps. You pumped the handle to fill the glass holding tank, then it gravity fed into the car. I got to pump the handle for my dad.

Putting a nickel in a pay phone, and as it started to drop taking your palm and hitting the coin return just the right way. When done "correctly" the phone would ding twice and you'd get a dial tone.

We still have one in town, with a miniature golf place adjacent. Still crowded spring through fall!

    Anyone remember Harvey’s...with the Bunny?
